PS- f having power steering, cruise, ac ect… in my b18 eg the only thing i have running off of the crank pulley is an alternator. thats all i need y0!

all those accessories will kill power

what exhaust do you plan on running? these motors need to breathe to make good power

There is no way that car will be fast enough to justify the sleeper look…

200whp and 2200lbs? That sounds about as fun as an elise in a straight line (not fun)… at least an elise can corner…

200whp (will prob be more like 220 with a tune) in that coupe is good for high 12’s… not exactly fast but its fast for a stock looking civic thats NA

I think a 13’s DD is pretty rad. Though I’d agree that a sleeper should be silly fast.

Yes probably but how many people in wny have a B-series swap? how many people have a k-series swap. I would say there are alote more b-series swap…so i opt to be alittle different.

Just the same reason why you brought the Elise, isnt there another car out that was less then the elise that could of satisify your expectation? probably yes. but you picked to be different!

Nope all stock when you look inside no need to gutt. its my daily driver with just a little powwa. im not tracking/racing it.

also, a boosted b has a lot more potential but for someone looking for stock reliability and still a very fun DD, paying the premium for a k-swap with bolt ons is where its at

even a turboed d16 with vitara pistons will go as fast if not faster for roughly half the cost of this (im not really sure what this is going to end up costing but i know its alot) i like it that you went different but for the money i probably would have stayed d series or maybe swapped to a B series, or even LS/Vtec

Ugh, shitty comparison, a d16 turbo build to get 220hp reliably isn’t going to be as cheap as this particular k20a2. Maaaaybe a turbo b18b1 would be a better $ comparison but it’s not going to be as reliable as this k20. Let’s not forget, Dave bought a totalled rsx for a fantastic price and is parting out the whole car except what he needs. I’d much rather pop my hood and see a k20 vs some pos rusty log manifold on a SOHC.
