Well here it is, my build. It started out last year when i bought a black 93 coupe, yeah it was automatic and ive still only driven 5 speed a few times to this day. Anyways I ran into implications with that so i sold it. Then i came across this one, a lil bit rustier, but also a lil bit more 5 speed. Before i found it it had been sitting in the parking lot at the back of a shop cause they put a hole in the block.
I pulled that shit outta there
Before pics…
Not too many before pictures.
Hook ups on the front end.
After our move, in its new home.
HA
To this:
And the inside after some work
Got some holes to fix and i’m stripping the sound deadening.
One of my first purchases
Good right?
At first my plans were to turbo the KA but I’m thinking of going with the CA now. I’m still very undecided though. I would really love to drop a VQ in but thats quite far out of my price range.
Future plans: slam it, cage it, boost it.
I’ll get more detail pics tomorrow.
I have a feeling its not supposed to be there and my sunroof will NEVER work.
Like what the shit.
Everybody always tells me they’ve seen worse but I HAVEN’T, not cool.
On the bright side though, Lookie what i gots
COMPLETELY unnecessary at this point and a little bent. Not bad though, I don’t think i’ll have to do anything too extreme to fix it, just bend it back and double up on the couplers.
Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks, I’m kinda having second thoughts now though. I’ve heard that friends of friends have had their share of problems with CA’s but then again maybe it was just poor maintenance. :S
Well of course a ka would be cheaper but its missing the boost! It’s gonna be around the same price to do it properly, so why not just get something that can handle it right from factory.

Yeah ima keep looking around. Lmk if anything catches your eye.
I wouldn’t have given up this projects. Sand blast all rust, cut and weld new sheeting metal. I know this wouldn’t be an eazy job. Car doesn’t look that bad. I have seen car worst than that…
Damn weird seeing it actually clean! sure its even the same one?? She got beat up, eventually blown up, then sat in a parking lot for a good chunk of time. Thats when I bought it. Woulda been too much restoration work though, I’d rather spend my time and money on making it better, ya know
