So the tires I have were sold to me as 305/x/18 555R drag radials, and ended up being 555RII which are autox/road race. The big difference is the II has a really stiff sidewall which is why they gave me so much trouble like the stock runflats. I tried about everything that I could to get them to work, but no luck. I tried with water, without water, big burnout, small burnout and took notes. The best launch I got was a 2.1 which was 1k launch which spun, then hooked with feathering, then hopped a little into second.
It’s just so frustrating that they hook so well on the street by comparison.
Its just a 30yr old car that was one of the first SFI cars let alone being turbocharged, also has a 200r4 transmission, so it scares me to break down over an hour away from home.
A lot of old electronics. Running 20 psi of boost on e85.

More Racing Events To Be Announced
The car has battled me in everyway possible, but i planned to attempt to enjoy the car for the little time left in the season. A lot of little things i need to do still, but with lancaster being a failure wed and tuesdays rained, i really want to see what the car will do time wise.
I cant this saturday or next saturday but the 17th i hope to be free. Maybe one of these fridays i can swing.
Well I assume you’re not bracket racing and will just be running test and tune…so you will get to race during time trials and then when test and tune class is called during actual racing.
Time trials are for people bracket racing who want to figure out their dial in ET.
They run test and tune on Fridays all season but at the end of the year they just move everything onto Saturdays
Went to lancaster tonight. Track seemed prepped very good although my car isnt that powerful. Ran a 8.82@76mph 1.86 60ft. Need a stall, tranny 1 to 2 shift seemed laggy, so might have a issue.
