Got to ride in this beast last night, it is totally insane.

Interesting day yesterday. Parents came to my house yesterday, took my mom for her first ever ride since the turbo on the way to pick up chinese food. She had to get out after one hard pull cause she thought she was going to puke. She gets real notious if thats not obvious…
Anyway on the way home, car dies. No fuel pressure, would build to about 18 psi on cranking then drop off. I’m on the side of the road, look for fuel leaks… find nothing. Figure the leak has to be in the tank, I could hear atleast one pump turning on and odds of both pumps dieing at the same time is slim.
Pulled the canisters on the side of the road, took one of the pumps off that the line exploded on, then used a cap with a clamp on the hose barb to be able to try and build enough pressure to get home. The cap worked flawlessly haha, was able to keep 56 psi the whole way home.
I’m going to buy higher pressure hose, and also better clamps that one have a chance of piercing the hose.

Haha whatever works. I was ready to flip out on my mother. This was before I fixed it on the road and trying to figure out what was wrong; shes like “Well do we have it towed to your house, or take it to a shop”. I’m like really a shop??? Basically built the thing from the ground up… after she realized how dumb of a statement it was.
