For sale:
My 1993 Nissan 240sx Ultra-Clean Coupe.
To start off with, it must be said this car is insanely clean. It has less than 150 000km and has NEVER been winter driven. In addition it was rustproofed just for that extra assurance.
It has every option available in '93, it was the top of the line model. This car is a real head turner and it sounds amazing too. Everywhere I go this car gets looks and comments. IT IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE QUEBEC DRIVEN BEAT UP 240! I searched for many months to find one in such good condition.
Before I bought it I had a 300pt inspection, so there are no hidden flaws that I don’t know about.
General:
- Less than 150k km
- Never winter driven
- Leather interior
- HUD
- Not a spot of rust on the underbody
- The frame rails are perfect
- The floors and rockers are great (first sign of a babied car)
- Viper Alarm system
- Power sunroof
Performance/Mechanical:
- TeinHR Coilover suspension
- Hotshot headers
- Performance exhaust (I dunno what it is though)
- The clutch is 2 months old
- The Spark plugs, spark plug wires are the same age
- VLSD
- Front and rear strut bars
- Tires in the back are less than 2 months old, tires in the back are like new, I don’t know how old they are though.
Within the last 2 weeks it has:
- New control arms
- New Tension rods
- Alignment
- New Rotors on the front
- New pads on the front
The small things that need addressing:
There is a spot of rust below the passenger mirror that is covered with tape at the moment. I think the paint chipped from a rock and water infiltrated by the looks of it.
The speedo doesn’t work, neither do the gauges wired to it… but here’s how to fix it, I haven’t had the time:
Technical Articles: How to: Repair 240sx digital speedometer with HUD.
The hood isn’t closing right. There are 2 little plastic supports that it sits on, with age they have warped, I’m pretty sure they’re the problem.
The spoiler was removed, and the holes were plugged with little stoppers. It doesn’t leak.
The trunk lining, spare tire and jack weren’t there when I bought it. You can see how rust free it is now though much easier
The car is being sold as is, but luckily for you, it’s awesome as is!!
If you’re looking for a 240 to beat on and drive in the winter, this IS NOT your car and is not priced as such.
I am looking for $7000.
Hotshot headers
Rust and bend free
I have better shots of when it was on the lift to show the ultra cleanness.
In the process of changing wheels, I much prefer the Gram Lights
