2500 offer for 3000 asking price would not be my definition of lowball offer in nyspeed standards. Lol
I cant even get a real lowball on a car I am selling on here just to laugh at it…$500 off is a reasonable offer by most standards. If your standards are not reasonable then you should list the car firm at $3k
He started at $4k so dropping to $3k firm isn’t too bad. If he doesn’t have to sell he can wait for his price
What ultra said. I listed for 4k, dropped a $1000, that’s fair. Car will function as daily no problem but out of respect for its prestine condition I was trying to sell before it had to see salt and likely an accident due to my winter record last two years in my Hyundai. If you came with $2800 you would drive away with it. You offered $2500 and I said no but you had no counter. Unless I wreck it this winter cars not being sold for a dollar under $2800.

Tell the story right. I offered you 2500 after you told me you were trying to get 3 grand for it not 3000 firm firm firm. Maybe when you first posted you wanted $4k but we were discussing it way after that.
And for what its worth i think this car is a steal and will make someone very happy if this is what you are looking for.
