I just would have thought drew’s old motor would make more jam, bc I thought this had an ls6 intake and shorty headers or something.
Numbers don’t mean anything, this car is dope fast. I guess I just expected the numbers to be higher, but if you think about it thats great that it moves out so well with so little.
Yeah, no cam - no intake - sanderson shorty headers that probably flow worse than stock.
Just means I have room for improvement if I get the itch.
I haven’t checked the iat temps yet but intake is setup better
These numbers are inline with what a stock LS1 makes.
Is there any way to run longtubes in this setup? Either way I bet you can do LPE GT2-3 cam and LS6 intake/ported TB and make 350-360rwhp and still drive like a bone stock car. Im over cars that drive like piss and yours is SO NICE to cruise.
Also Sobo I made 370rwhp last year on that dyno and ran 10.9@126 in a heavier car. That as stated was with Trex,LS6 intake/ported tb,1 7/8" longtubes, 4" cat-back
Long tubes are rumored to be in production but I don’t know if I feel like investing 1500-2000 to get a set to work.
Damn primaries are 1 1/2" on the shortys.
Cam and LS6 intake are going to be the next step if I do anything - I really don’t need more power.
I’d rather invest in sound deadening and paint.
Pats old H/C setup drives super smooth and still makes like 420/something you can barley tell it has a cam just a longer power band.

Our definitions of drive nice are deff not the same since the cam selection I listed drives like stock. Pats old setup compared to a gt 2-3 are a world of difference in drivability. Also buying heads is deff not where mingle wants to go if ya can’t tell.
How much does this car weigh?
I’m wiling to bet it’s in the neighborhood of 2500. Some people claim 2300 ish.
Flyin Miata corner weighted an NB LS1 at 2536 but they start off heavier.

I weighed my cars at a gravel pit, datsun is 2500 and my LS1 rx7 is 2700, both without me. I just ask nicely and they let me.
