Those are some light ass wheels on the first miata. Lensos. Headlight cover looks pretty efficient.

At first glance it looked like cracks in the other pic, this pic clears it up, Eats hat. As for the strech, you didnt look very hard for tires if all you could find was a 225. jegs? summitracing? swerve? ebay? I mean if you are not poor & shopping for tires on craigslist.

I understand your compound constrains on tire availability, but not the wheel size. They make plenty of 15’’ tires in multiple compounds, like I said, look around. Hell I’ve got 295 50 15s on an 8’’ wheel. You might want to look into some MT dot tires etc.

I like the head light cover duct idea (and look); however, do you plan on doing hard driving at night…? How much more volume do you need? Is that little intake going to give you enough or is it just “more is better”…?

I think the isolater box is the best idea. Maybe a duct coming between the headlight and the inner fender. Not sure how much room is there.

I love this thing. I kind of want a NA with a NB front and a LS1… :slight_smile:
