I cant see pulling a 5.0 and putting in a 4.6 but thats just me. Something about putting a smaller motor in seems wrong to me, even if it makes more power.

Blown 5.4 wont make as much power as a termi motor will, and its heavier. Only 5.4 Id swap would be the 500 motor…

Better off picking up a cheap v6 Mustang then since youd be changing alot of shit anyway. Crossmember, tranny, wiring, etc. None of it on a 5.0 car works with a 4.6.
Mustangs with blown up 3.8’s are cheap. The only additional swap youd need to make would be the rearend but theyre not expensive and bolt right in. V6- 7.5, v8- 8.8.
yeah but i like this car… which is part of the reason i offered him the money. but i have been tempted a few times by a couple v6’s none of which were cheap enough for me. the car is a wrecked '03 and its a good price cuz of family( and he doesnt owe anything)
