i never used one,all i did was go to adv auto and get a msd streetfire h.e.i dist for pretty much every carb small block i did …in fact if that was the case g/m would do it to and there all cast iron

ive had a few people say a distributor is a all the same…creates spark…mines out of a nova with a 350…stock part but it’ll work for now
