got a few pics of the current project…a few of you have heard about it and its starting to come around…waiting on a few parts and pieces (motor mounts, intake manifold, headers, electric fans, and a fuel cell. got a few pictures of the bed and some of the interior and under the hood…
the bed has def seen better days but i got the tub kit today should have it in soon…picked up the tranny the radiator the dist thurs nite…should have the motor mounts by the end of the week…hopefully gettin the intake tommorow supposed to get the torque converter tonite…see what happens
turbo 350… needs a rebuild but im gonna use it till this winter n have it rebuil…no forced induction just a 750 cingle pumper…need special intake per the heads …the center2 intake bolts are straight up and down…newer heads
yeah ya need a intake for the 87 up heads ,id keep the truck heads ya got as they flow well for what they are …i got a holley 750 4150 series d/p i just rebuilt for my camaro but i sold the car
ya can run a older designed intake on the heads ya just need to dremel the center 2 inatke bolts on both sides a little and save money and have a better choice of intakes
yeah everyone says those heads are pretty good…i was talkin with a friend of mine and he said i need a brass gear for the distributor b/c of the roller cam…any truth to this??? more than 1 person has told me this
i never used one,all i did was go to adv auto and get a msd streetfire h.e.i dist for pretty much every carb small block i did …in fact if that was the case g/m would do it to and there all cast iron
the h.e.i is a good dist get a good coil and module and your all set wit it …i just ran the msd as they are about as cheap as a reman dist and there way better

nah it all went wit the car unfortionalty ,it was a weind action plus single plane the starter i may have ill look .but there only 30-40 bucks id just get a new one

having all these parts in one store is directly porportional to how bad i need them…the more i need them the less of a chance they have them in stock… glad i have 4 auto stores within 15 minutes, 1 of which will actually be open…:banghead
i just got the tub kit fitted yesterday…i know where there is one…518-868-4845…guys name is chris he owns smiths collision in sloansville…prolly like 300 bucks with tailgate and lites…shit 500 wud take the whole truck…
