95' 240sx

Hey guys, considering buying a 95’ 240sx se, just wanted to know; what’s the difference between the se model and le model? Oh, and also, i heard a rumor that the dohc 240sx engines aren’t very strong…i was under the impression that they were infact fairly strong if not very strong?

i cant really answer the exact differences about le-se but the dohc is fairly strong yes.

You are new so ill give you a break, search first before you post.

SE models came with base packages (cloth seats, 4 lug (in most cases) )

LE models came with leather seats, front lip, 5 lug

the motors are strong, I dont know where you heard this rumour from. If you maintain them and dont beat the shit out of them they can be good for 300,000 kms.

I’ve got a convertible with almost 260,000 on the original KA24DE…take care of your engine, and it will treat you well.

People hate on it, but for reliablility, I give it +1

my coupe has over 300k on the orig. motor, only thing iv replaced was a water pump.

se is a base model cloth interior, 4lug , no abs

le usually has abs, 5lug, leather interior, fog lights, front lip, white face cluster, sunroof

i would prefer a le since its has all the extras

my grilfriends car has 290 000 and we drove it to florida and back no problems at all the motors are stroooooooooonggg reallly strong.
dont know much about the s14 market tho lol
