just wondering the diffirence between S14 LE and SE??

just wondering the diffirence between S14 LE and SE?? thanx

My SE has ABS, LSD, pwr doors windows. The LE has the same stuff plus leather seats, & sunroof.

EDIT: FAQ section

hey i have an le… and it doesn’t have a sunroof… DAMNNNNN

hey…no sunroof…means lighter…~~ and better handling…~~

i’d prefer the sunroof… because i’m not fixing up my 240sx fully… … when i do i’ll prob buy a convertable… just so it’ll look sweeeeeeeet… … how much do the 91 convertables weigh vs the regular coupe

91 convertible weight absolutely nothing because it wasn’t available untill 94.

Read and learn.

Coupe 2699lbs
Hatch 2730 lbs
Convertible 2800 lbs

i have a 95 SE no leather but i have power everythign and teh sun roof. i dont think i have an LSD … how woul di check if i did or not

does any one has heated seat for the S14??

i have an LE but no snrf… love to have one, prolly get one installed… it’d add about what… ummm 20 lbs? not baaad :stuck_out_tongue:

HIBIKI, you got heated seats???

dont screw up your structural rigidity by adding a sunroof.

Edit: fixed

dont screw up your structural Rigidity by adding a sunroof.[/quote]

and i agree

If it’s a mid 90’s 240 (which yours is) and built for the Canandian market it has an LSD…
Though if you want to check then do a nice long burn out… if you see one track only then it’s an open diff… if you see two nice black marks then you’ve got a LSD

or… rather than wasting your rubber, jack the back of the car off the ground, put the car in neutral(make sure u block the wheels…) and then turn the back wheel with ur hand, if the other side turns the same way u have an lsd, if it goes opposit u dont… and all Canadian models 91+ had VLSD to my knowledge anyway.

no… i don’t have a heated seat… just wondering…~~

ok ok … i guess now i have a reason NOT to spend $600 on snrf :stuck_out_tongue:

My '95 SE has sunroof, no leather, no ABS, power windows and locks.

The LE’s for this year come with rear sway bar and 5 lug bolt pattern and ABS as the main differences I believe.

I am very happy with the combo from the factory that my car has since I am putting in an aftermarket rear swaybar anyways. I love the cloth seats and lack of ABS!!!

ABS is a feature that I wouldn’t wanna live without. IMO, even for racing ABS is very helpful… i know a lot of racers may not agree with me on that.

but aren’t most racing/autocross cars equipped with ABS?

But Racing ABS is really diffirent than our ordinary ABS…~~

you guys forgot fog lights, intermitted wiper (you can adjust the speed on LE’s), front lip spoiler, upgraded stereo (6x9’s and tweeters, double din stereo), power antena, white face gauges, factory alarm, keyless entry…

if i can think of any more, i’ll post em.

hey prince, i have a '95 factory pwr sunroof, headliner, 2 dome lights and the bolts. $600 o.b.o. and its all yours, i want to install it but have no coin.

"The firmer SE suspension rides more harshly than the base version, which does a better job of absorbing bumps and tar strips. "

on most cars the LE edition weighs more than the SE for reasons such as leather seats, sunroof heated seats etc. Actually when i was shopping for a 240 i acutally preferred the se. but… Hell what do i know
