Hey guys. I was wondering,
a) What’s the main difference between 1995 LE and 1997 SE? aside from
the obvious face-lift and the year of production. :roll:
b) What’s the difference between 98 SE and 98 LE?
looked around many forums but couldn’t find one. So I’m
posting one.
LE is a higher trim level so I’ll guess;
Leather
Sunroof
5 bolt wheels (instead of 4 bolt)
ABS (?)
Leather
Sunroof
5 bolt wheels (instead of 4 bolt)

and did i mention the leather? kk 
Well I’ve owned both so I’ll chime in.
a) Leather, the face lift you’re taling about, factory security sytem, no stanard sunroof on SE. I think I own the only '98 SE without a sunroof. It must have been a cheap option because most S14’s I’ve seen have them.
b) Leather, sunroof not standard on the SE, security system. Both had sway bars and stiffer suspension unlike the 95-96 SE which had neither.
Canadian 97-98 SE’s were much better equipped because we never got the “base” model that the U.S. got (4 lug, no sways, lsd, etc)
The only other difference I can think of durring all 4 model yars was a premium audio upgrade.
My kouki SE is only missing leather and sunroof. The two worst things about the LE haha.
I have 5 bolt and ABS but thats because all koukis have 5 bolt and ABS. SE and LE matters more between the zenki’s.
I’ve only been in three S14s, all zenki and I found the leather to be a big deal. And the BLACK interior. The first S14 I was in, was cloth, gray interior, and I honestly felt my S13 was better. Then I got to sit in Walter’s S14, black, leather, and I though it was awesome. It was his car that made me like S14s. And then I got to ride in a turbo S14, and that really made me like them 
haha, I wouldn’t want leather seats for free. Nissan leather is about one step above vinyl. I think it’s from all the tofu the Japanese feed thier cows.
I do miss having a sunroof though.
i have a 95 se, 4-bolt, cloth seats, non-abs, but i do in fact have a sunroof.

My 97 LE has no sunroof but it has everything else.
i have everything you speak of plus a coffee maker in my glove box in my LE.
The S14a came in 2 trims, SE and LE. Here are the descrepencies:

SE: tires = 195/60R115 ; LE: 205/55R16
As for the S14 SE to LE from 1997-1998, I’m not exactly sure. But the list could be similar.
