96 240SX LE Timing belt gone

I have a 96 240SX LE and the timing belt went on the car… Not going to fix it so just wondering if the car is worth anything to sell or just take it to the yard…

The car is worth about 5-6k in good shape. With a broken timing chain, I’d say you can still get 3 grand for it. Either way, definitely worth selling over scrapping.

Ive got a junk yard you can give it to…at my house. Seriously Ill take it off your hands as Im sure many others here will.

Give us some more details on the car. Mileage, body condition, etc.

I think you can get 3,500. Depending on the body condition. How did the timing chain brake? Start up or while moving? Anyways, if the valves are bent you can swap the head for $150-$300 (maybe even less) and sell the car for $6500.

u can swap in a sr20det engine in it for 3000$ or replace swap a stock ka24de engine in there for 1000$ and ur back on the road…

but if u dont want it… yea u can get 3gs for the body rolling car for sure… if u have no huge rust…

Under body pics would help alot man…even though its impossible to tell from the outside I’m thinking underneath is not that bad.
