I bought this car in august from my friends cousin. I just needed a descent vehicle to get through the winter. I now am strapped for cash and have bills to pay. I have another vehicle that i dont drive in the winter, but i will if i can sell this vehicle. Its the definition of a winter beater (i know winter is almost over but…). The car doesnt look pretty but it runs flawlessly. power everything including sunroof. good tires and brakes, and it is currently inspected until the end of august. the hood and fender are beat up, but the hood opens/closes fine. the passenger headlight lense is broken but both headlights work fine. the passenger rear door does not open, heat works great and ive never even tried the a/c so im not sure if it works. THIS CAR RUNS EXCELLENT! i have never had a problem with it, it handles the cold weather great. i havent invested anything into this car and bought it as is, but i know it has a new battery and i change the oil often. car doesnt leak anything. this car has been very reliable for me and i believe it still has a few good years left.
ASKING 1,000 BUT JUST GIVE ME AN OFFER, I NEED IT GONE
I KNOW PICS SELL THE CAR, i’ll take some better ones in the morning when the sun is actually out. Here r some pics i took on my way home from work today
My fiance has one, a 98’ (hand me down from a relative), and we’ve taken it back to NY about 10 times in the last year or so. The ride is pretty decent, and it’s an overall comfortable car. It is by far and away, one of the ugliest cars ever made, it gets poor mileage, and it’s handling is hardly worth calling home about…
But if you need a decent, comfortable DD, and you don’t care what it looks like, this might not be a bad deal…
3.0L? As long as the tranny is shifting fine, these cars will rot apart long before they break apart. I put a '93 Taurus in the scrap yard with almost a quarter million on it, the body just wasn’t there any more. Yeah, nothing to write home about, but they’re pretty decent in the snow. GLWS
:word: I’m DDing a 99 taurus at the moment, which is virtually the same thing, and besides the fact it’s the ugliest thing i’ve ever seen, I love it… drives smooth, I get decent mileage and its pretty comfortable. Ive owned a ton of cars and oddly enough it’s one of my favorites
