Saw a rather cheap 97 z28 but it’s autotragic. My question is how bad is the power loss with the ATX and how much hp can it handle stock?

4l60e can handle into the 400rwhp range depending on how much it was abused, how often the fluid was changed, and if you have a tranny cooler.
stock LT1 a4 probably makes like 230-250rwhp?

Thanks, I didnt realize they didnt get LS1’s till 1998. Def don’t want an LT1, I wanted to jump on the boosted LSx bandwagon.

Well considering it’s an LT1 I don’t think it’s that cheap anymore but it’s a Polo Green z28 with 100k for $4.5 in West Seneca.
