98 Range Rover 4.6 CHEAP

Just bought a Range Rover off of a friend who needed money, its a 1998 with 89,000 miles and runs great. Interior/exterior are in AWESONE condition. No dents/rust on the exterior and no rips in the leather. Truck has no radio, but I might be able to throw one in if I have one laying around my house.

SALVAGE TITLE, but passed salvage inspection already and can be registered like any clean title car.

Book value is $9,040 obviously with a clean title

Im trying to get $5k for a quick sale… Im gonna have my mechanic look at it first thing tommorow morning to make sure everything is legit and then it should be ready to go.

I’ll have 1 or 2 shitty pics up in a few and then better ones tomm, just wanna dump this thing as I hate having money tied up into shit.

trade for a monkey?

thing is slammmmed! i like. why salvage? totaled in wrek, water or stolen?

air suspension

Not sure, JUST literally bought it lol, ill check later but there are NO signs of damage at all, I think it was stolen at one point in time.

BUMP, just cleaned the Range up and its ready to go. There ARE issues with the truck, but I drove the truck about 60 miles yesterday and had NO trouble at all. The electrical issue consists of the dash working and then not working… It will turn on and off whenever it wants lol… Usually if it doesnt work and I restart the car it will work again. Besides that, the truck is in AWESOME shape for the yr and the leather is pretty much mint… I took pics on my digital camera and all the stores I went to to buy a usb cable for it dont have it so no more pics yet.

Becuase of this issue im going to SIGNIFICANTLY drop the price for shift members to $3,500!!! I really think its a steal at that price even with the issues seeing how it books for over $9,000

money pit

Does it really matter at less than half book value? Even even you dump $1k into it youd still MAKE money off it even though I have a feeling the wiring issue is simple.

Should state in this listing its Salvage Title

GLWS looks like a tank

the thing is only worth about 3,000 man, just took one in on trade, NO ONE wants to write a check on one of those things, for the exact reasons you stated with the electrical

i disagree, but hey, gimme 3k? lol… BTW, im gonna make the assumption you took in a 4.0 on trade NOT a 4.6 which is pretty rare… The book value is also THOUSANDS of dollars apart.

nope 4.6… it was a one owner car bought from my sales manager when he use to be over a keeler, car wasn’t a showroom car, but was nice for a 99

when it’s all said and done, the car is still almost 13 years old, foreign, and known for electrical problems

but hey, they are still giant tanks, just expect to be at the shop every other week

Are the newer ones any better? My boss has been buying a ton of them at auctions lately and selling them to friends and family. He’s got an '04.

My buddy has an 05ish and had to drop $900 on an alternator. Apparently they are liquid-cooled. Lol

some dude from Queens just called me, seems retarded interested in it, told me to take it off craigslist hes getting it tommorow and has been non stop text messaging me after we got off the regular phone so well see I guess…

the new range rover is just as bad…

nope, i have many customers who can’t wait for the lease to end or trade them in… they have a ton of issues even the new ones
