99.5 vw golf tdi...the low and slow daily

ok most of you know the car in question. its been my daily for the past year and has come a long way from when i picked it up. im sure ill regret it when its gone like i did with all my previous diesel vw’s but right now im looking to pick up more of a luxurious daily…

the bad:
Needs rear beam bushings (have the parts and will be included but just dont have the time to throw them in myself)
has no exhaust from cat back (kinda loud but never bothered me)
interior fan switch not working
the car comes with assorted dents, dings, scratches and minor rust at no extra charge… (no rot on the body all just surface rust…siqqq?)

aside from what ive mentioned there are no hidden issues with the car as i try to take care of all my vehicles and stay on top of maintenance so they stay reliable.

the car gets roughly 700 miles to the tank. i drive about 50 miles a day to and from work at about 75mph with assorted city driving mixed in.

Ugh i want but i just cant justify spending 5k on something with 250,000 miles.

Diesel or not… 250,000 of closing doors is what makes me cringe. Theres only so much maintenance can prevent.

No no no don’t get me wrong you won’t. This is a good price and I’m sure this is better maintained than most on the markrt.

Hence why I said I want it. I just wish the market was different is all I ment by that.
