down here in york i was rolling into my grandparents house for the night to have a swim and go to sleep.
when a yellow 03-'04 996TT in yellow with blakc HREs and TUBIs passed me at a noticeably clip.
caught him at the next light and we were behind some traffic. i pulled out at about 2-10mph and he followed suit. let traffic get far enough ahead while holding up the rest behind us.
20-25mph roll in 2nd up to 100-110 in 4th. he pulled 3-4 cars instantly(in 2nd) and in 3rd he held me off at about a maximum of 4-6 cars with no more pulling.
all in all it was a good race. he was impressed and said hed never seen a FWD move like that, kind of unhappy he couldnt shake me more.
 to a cool porsche owner who likes spanking lesser autos
lol, i guess…i mean cool for trying but. i dont know. its a high 12s vs a low 14s car. you know its not going to be pretty before you even step on the gas

Duh
Hes not that dumb to expect to win, its just fun to see exactly how fast a car like that is…
Time to buy the upgraded turbo kit, and a full turbo back exhaust, get some lightwieght 17’s and get it all tuned… and THEN, you’ll be in the 12s (after you strip out all of your interior)

of course he’s not gonna win in the mazda. the point is to see a fast car drive fast. i do that in my civic, not because i think i have any chance of winning, but to see a sweet car burn some rubber.
