Preliminary test off of newman’s camera - holds up pretty good on bumpy roads. Smoother asphalt such as on a track should be even more stable.

I have used this in the past and it works really well also. You can also mount it pretty much wherever although I have only used the front windshield thusfar. They run $100.
newman, u can build shit on my car anytime u would like.
preferably a downpipe and/or intercooler piping
