I thought the exact same thing. It takes off 300k km from your engine bay if its clean.

Well, as for the point of this thread… I figured that since this is a 240sx forum, my 240sx has a place here. 8)
I’m definitely keeping it. In the pics here and the other thread, I’ve posted only the worst.
The underside, aside from the couple minor frame issues (to be fixed shortly), is in excellent condition. There’s a bit of rust on the body on the rear wheel wells, but you only see it when the body mouldings/mudflaps are off.
There were some holes inside the trunk, but I patched those up in January.
The car runs and drives very nicely, always starts, and gets looks. 
And this is even though it needs a paint job (I do like the colour, but the paint on the hood is pretty worn down).
The interior is in very good condition, and everything works, except for the speedometer (sometimes) and the lighter.
I’ll be able to have it looking much nicer once I have money, which would be next May at the earliest. I’m not gonna cut any corners on anything necessary to keep it running and driving nicely though.
