A new player on the Speed GT World Challenge scene?

I heard it through the grapevine. I didn’t believe it at first, but then others in the know are starting to say yes. I hope it’s true, the pictures will speak for themselves:

So… how do you think the GT will stack up against next year’s CT-Vs, C6Z06s, and Porsches?

i think it will stack up nicely…it will be a blast to find out…

PS i miss the SE-R Spec V in the Touring Car division

OMG… FAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAP… Oh wait, I’m at work. Better wait 'til I get home.

wow, that’s nice! It’s great too see good (and dominating) american GT’s out there. The addition of the GT will be good. The neutral balance of the vettes will be hard to beat but if this MR layout is anything similiar to the NSX in terms of balance and handling but will balls it should make the GM cars really work to hold their spot. It’ll probably take a year to really get their setups tuned for every track but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the GT’s dominate old skool stylz!

awesome… Finally competing in a series worth watching.

Sponsored by Sammy Hagar’s tequila, note the number plate.

another motorsports renaissance…

Yeah, why do they keep putting a line through the plate?

because 55 is not the speed limit

Are those Wedsport wheels on that thing?

I think those are the wizzeeelzzzzz I need to get for the EVO…

“I can’t drive…55…” One of Sammy’s biggest hits…

this thing looks sick

it just looks natural. why this isn’t the greatest spectacle in racing I dunno.

nice find

That would explain why every car he was associated with has 55 with the line crossed out. :smash2: I was starting to think that was in the rulebook or something. I’m slow.

That’s perrty…but I don’t think it will be the same dominating force it was many years ago. They need the right driver to make things happen. Any ideas who’s driving it?

that thing is so hott…

but I don’t understand the specs… it says 4.0L SC or 6.0L NA… so where does the 5.4L SC fit in?>

i think its showing whats currently in the car, even tho thats not what they will be running once the season starts?

If it weren’t for the BBS stickers on the car I’d say they were… but I’m thinking they are actually BBS RKs.

not to bump an old thread, but are there any more pics from that SEMA show? I’d like to see more of that tubbed mustang on dragstars behind the GT

and the wheels are BBS, according to the spec panel rx3 posted.

I will like to see this GT in action
