Looks ok to me

Download a fsm it will answer 90 percent of your questions the extra plug in front of the rad is for fogs the deck needs an aftermarket harness as the power supply cable is showing I would assume you have an after market deck already
As for the no clue photo I’m pretty sure you have an auto to manual swap as that cable is for the auto shifter I do beleive
Hope that helps

Good luck

these pics remind me how much i hate wires lol

…^^

I have no deck at the moment. if thats the “power supply aftermarket style” i still need an aftermarket harness?
and yes, it was a auto to manual swap.

Both plugs fit the oem deck based on the rats nest of wires there was an aftermarket deck installed buy a conversion harness and work your way back

I’ve never seen that female plug behind my radio before, no clue what it does. But for sure the other one plugs into the deck for antenna.

Why does he need to leave the key lock alone? I took mine out, don’t need it

That works too.

So I need another harness to use my deck? I looked up what they had on wal-mart site not sure which to use…

I’m good with which leads go to which speaker now! Thanks guys!

but the power I’m a bit confused cause this threw me off:

The .pdf install guide: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/CDXGT210_Installation.pdf
States that the Red wire should be +12V Ignition and that Blue is “Antenna REM” (dunno)

But in the wiring coming from the car, Blue is connected to the Red and along the Red wire there’s a 20A fuse…:S help?

---------- Post added at 02:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:49 PM ----------

Also, anyone have ideas on where I can pick up screws for the deck?..didn’t come with any…my local hardware store? Computer store? Fastenal? LOL

Go here…
http://ka-t.org/fsm.php
Download the service manual for your car, and take a look through it. Literally has all the information you will ever need.
For your radio, i had a similar situation. But on the back of my deck it showed a chart of what every color wire was for, so that made it easy. Do you have anything like that? I also had to get a separate harness for my deck because the plugs on the back of aftermarket deck don’t line up with the deck harness of your car whatsoever.

I have the FSM I got it off Zilvia but It looks like there was at one point, an aftermarket deck hooked up to my car. cause the speakers are all aftermarket.
After looking through the FSM and the deck manufacturer install guide. I still don’t understand why there’s a 20A fuse spliced in to the +12V Ignition wire.

I don’t see the need for a fuse for the deck 12v anyway, just wire it straight. Now, if you were going to have an amp powered directly from the battery would be a good idea to have a inline fuse, but that’s another story.

^ added you on msn. So I can just take the 20A fuse out?

Should i just try taking the fuse out?..

That female plug is where you keep your penis

Edit:

That blue antenna plug is what tells the power antenna to turn on and will also tell any amplifiers you hook up to turn on with the head unit. The fuse would only be used if the previous owner was worried that his deck might draw too much power especially if it was driving those aftermarket speakers without an amp. Its useless, take it out or keep it in doesn’t really matter.

I do a shit ton of wiring all day erday so pm me your msn and you can just hit me up if you need more help.

+1 for the FSM and the manual to the deck cause that shit sorts everything out and will keep you from trial and erroring your ass off.

insert sarcastic laughter nice try with the bland penis joke =P

oh and throw some dirt on those hands cause you look like a girly man
