Cute. Its amazing what they will allow on a drag cage.
But, as long as it passes tech…
Dan
Can you give a little more info about the cage?
It’s certified for 8.50’s.
I have an equally sucky cage in my BMW.
being painted body color looks really nice, but the placement of the the tubes looks rather dangerous in some spots.
Why didn’t they put the front ones thru the dash?
I wouldn’t drive this on the street with out a full face helmet
+1
Does your leg rub on the cage when you press the clutch?
Maybe the angles make it look odd. I Fit in it perfect and my head is aways away from any bars. Going through the dash would have taken away from my feet room.

Definitely does look odd in the pictures, but maybe it is just the angle. Like where the downbar comes past the steering wheel. It looks like you only have a couple inches for your hands…
You’re right, the other pics make it look super close, but this one shows how far away they really are:
How about these:
(Sorry about the dust there o_0 …didn’t see it until now.)
Of course I’m a lot smaller than Emery.

it looks better than I thought…really…I still think the fitment is half-assed though.
on an oval track car we normally run a small bar from the bottom of the front down tube to the frame exactly where your foot would hit if you move your leg sideways, once padded it stops the bottom of the leg from wrapping around the upright bar, and saves lower leg fractures and broken ankles.
Food for thought, incase you go into the wall sideways at high mph.
I swear by them in every car I race.
It’s about time for some updates…
We got a new suspension in the car for this year, these are D2 coilovers with a little added touch from Mike at AWD Motorsports:
And we had this show up today… Our STM Forward Facing Manifold with a PTE 6262 attached…
wow… I’m scared just to look at that turbo, it makes the manifold look like a scale model.
things will be interesting.

You boys are crazy as hell and i love every minute
Carbon fiber front and rear fenders as well? Do they make em?
They make them, but really the fenders don’t weigh a thing… if anything I’d go with carbon doors now that we have a cage. :naughty:
And, Aaron, I didn’t think about that, but in that one picture, it does look pretty insignificant compared to the turbo.
