STM RICER Blows UP! Unedited Video and TONS of Carnage Pics!

HERE IS THE UNEDITED VIDEO OF THE BLOW!
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/STMs-StockBlock-Evo-RICER_187598.htm
Let’s all thanks Gleason for the great video coverage!

Well, first of all, looks like the miss-shift from 1-2 at 9000 rpm was the main problem. Wasn’t the car’s fault at all, and from the looks of the other cylinder’s below, they were still in good shape.

Most importantly, it was only a 1-2 shift and not 3-4. Bad things could have happened at 100+mph with oil and coolant all over those Hoosiers. Emery is fine, the car is still mint (although the Zaklee clear cam gear cover took a beating as the balance shaft belt came right up through!)

I’m relieved it’s all over. Alot of pressure off our shoulders! Although a 9.9 would have been awesome, I’ll take a 10.0 and the 4 years of abuse and fun this car has given and taken!

Well it had to happen some time…

KA BOOOM.

Atleast it went out in a glorious explosion of twisted internals.

wow… no shit. THat blows
G.luck w/new setup

Elmisteriosos engine also blew up a couple weeks ago. sucks.

How much power was this thing making at the time of death?

All good things come to an end. But they only lead to bigger and better. Can’t wait to see what comes of this car next season.

im gonna say it had to be in the range of 550+ with the times it was running.

was interesting to see for sure, RIP stock block.

cant wait to see what u guys come out with next

Sorry to see that happen!

good luck on the new setup!

Theres your problem your #2 piston was missing…

wow thats crazy any ideas what you are going to build for it now?

ouch

see if its covered under warranty:D

Cant wait to see what you guys do to it next year!

Damn misfires! Well that certainly was a great run on the stock block. Good luck on the next build!

Sorry to see but it was fun to watch.

That really sucks guys, but that is some damn good destruction though.

+karma for the hello kitty bandaid!!!

hone the cylinder walls, jb weld the block, and get a new OEM piston and rod and go for 9’s again

bummer.

good luck on your next build. i know it will be impressive as usual.

----mis-shifts definitely ruin ur afternoon, been there before, but the engine is replaceable so its only a minor set back

Wow - that sucks, Emery/Shawna…

Show me another car that waighs 3300 lbs + with me in it going 142 mph that makes 550whp. Evo mikes car made 708 whp and trapped 140 with him in it( about the same weight as our). The car was making between 650-700 whp.

If you want to see the destruction in HD go here
