Well, first of all, looks like the miss-shift from 1-2 at 9000 rpm was the main problem. Wasn’t the car’s fault at all, and from the looks of the other cylinder’s below, they were still in good shape.
Most importantly, it was only a 1-2 shift and not 3-4. Bad things could have happened at 100+mph with oil and coolant all over those Hoosiers. Emery is fine, the car is still mint (although the Zaklee clear cam gear cover took a beating as the balance shaft belt came right up through!)
I’m relieved it’s all over. Alot of pressure off our shoulders! Although a 9.9 would have been awesome, I’ll take a 10.0 and the 4 years of abuse and fun this car has given and taken!

Don’t worry, she is well and on the mend to terrorize the streets once more in 2009!
Show me another car that waighs 3300 lbs + with me in it going 142 mph that makes 550whp. Evo mikes car made 708 whp and trapped 140 with him in it( about the same weight as our). The car was making between 650-700 whp.
