- if the other 2 pro teams got a new stadium, it’s only right to give the 3rd a new one
- you can’t really argue about how good a team is in order to get a new stadium, the pirates fucking blow but people still go to the games just to be in the stadium. People will do the same thing if a new arena is built. No matter how shitty the pens are, people will go.

good point. we lost 95 games and had our 6th largest attendence total.
Also a good point is that when the pirates were in NLCS 90-91-92, they still didn’t sell out three rivers. 1. it was just too big for basball and 2. people say they would go if they were good proved they were lying when they didn’t. i have stacks of 92 NLCS tickets sittin at my desk
