What are the varied reasons an ABS light would remain on and can a scan tool tell me what the issue is ??
Wheel speed sensors?
I don’t know/think a scantool would help ya.
My guess is one of the sensors shit the bed.
bad connection or badly rusted wheel (the slotted one that the sensor reads)
most likely a wheel speed sensor, especially in FWD Chevy’s, but could be ABS Module…go see Mike at F&T Motors
some better scan tools can read abs,you can also do the jumper wire and count the flashes method.
