I guess my question is how can I tell if my car is a ABS or Non ABS S13…to begin with I have a 1991 nissan 240sx SE I know definitely its not a hicas, but i just don’t know if my car has abs or not

well the easy way is to stomp on the brake really hard (assuming your abs works).
or you can look for the abs module under the hood, it’s a big metal box that all of the brake lines from the MC go into.

WTF… the easiest way it to look under the hood in the back pass side corner for a big metallic thing with tons of brakes lines running in and out of it.
If the there is a big metallic thingy with tons of brake lines running…wat it is then…abs??

alright I dont have it so that means its non ABS…sweet!!! wait is that a good thing…i mean for to be able to get full control of my cars braking??
honestly, i hate abs… makes me feel like i’m gonna die when it starts to kick in.
and if your a good enough driver and now how your car stops… you dont need abs.
since most people don’t use abs for accident avoidance, I would generally say it’s not that helpful… abs has been known to increase straight line stopping distance, but some are better than others, any post-95 abs will be far superior
all it’s good for is allowing you to retain steering control during hard braking on slippery surfaces, and not flatspotting the tires… but you have to drive/brake a certain way for maximum effectiveness
