Are you talking about removing the wheel speed sensor? If so you can remove that and put in back on, without fear of any major problems.
i know nothing about abs but there is a line that runs into what is a black box on the hub, can I remove that line from the black box and be safe?
you can just unbolt the sensor and will be fine. just be careful when pulling out of hub. sometimes they are stubborn to get out of hub. if not just unplug the other end and leave on hub
Also when removing the caliper, don’t just press it in and allow the fluid to push back towards the master cylnder. crack the bleeder open and allow the fluid to excape there. On some of the abs equipment, a backflow of pressure will mess it up.
thanks
