AC Delco?

Are AC Delco parts good?

I’m asking because when my car needs parts, I usually have two options: the Toyota part (usually NipponDenso) or the Geo part (usually AC Delco)… The AC Delco parts are usually cheaper.

Also, when I buy plugs and wires, I have similar options… The AC Delco wires are a little more expensive than the Borg-Warner ones… are they worth it?

I’m guessing the answers will vary just like the “Which oil is best” question. You’ll hear - “Well, I have a friend who used blah blah and it broke.” Then you’ll hear the rumors like, “I heard that Delco parts are now made by Honduran children for $0.02 an hour, but they used to be good parts.”, or “All car parts are made by one manufacturer and just relabeled.”

I’m not sure there’s any way to really make an informed statment on it. I’d use whichever is cheaper.

ac delco isnt bad at all. its like any other manufactor parts. stock is good up to a certain point. but in your case it wont matter:D

there best u can replace ur origial parts with!!!on GM (TOYOTA)!!!  :tounge:

ok… i just put a Purolator PCV valve in… it was a slightly different shape than the original (AC Delco?) part, but it still fit… you think it’ll be alright?

i know this probably sounds dumb as hell, but i don’t really know shit about emissions related stuff.

it will be fine!!!vote me

i use delco rapid fire plugs in my cars.

did you ever see the Isuzu Impulse RS? It’s a cooler looking Geo Storm with all-wheel drive and a turbo.

Geo- meaning from the earth or soil.

Thats where those cars belong, 6 feet under.

I thought it was because they cost less than dirt.

No, but my Geo Storm was a hunk of junk… I loved it to death though! It was one of the wagon-type ones with the squared off back end.

I think that looks more like an oldsmobile… one of the ones that the handles were on the upper part of the door.

the bodies are different, but the Impulse + Storm are the same car underneath (turbo AWD model aside)…
