I just got T boned today  my 09 accord sedan got owned damn… sigh. Dont know if frame is done or not both passenger doors were caved in curtain air bags deployed driver side and behind driverside. other than that the car looks new.
my broker saying mostlikely get scrapped… its only door so maybe change of door key, ignition, doors airbags.
its on lease from honda dealer though. if its being scrapped can I take out the engine and other parts or even better to have car brought to my home so I can transplant everything to my future track car.
THE QUESTION IS CAN I TAKE MY CORDO(name of car) HOME and frankenstein it if its on lease?
your grammar is terrible, they wont allow you to take the car home if its written off, but you can go and take stuff out of it

Ah the 2009 Accord Sedan, an ideal choice for a future track car.

ASD
if your driving is anything like your grammar that car is probably fucked.
LMAO! Ciaran
my driving skillz are probably better than my English though. yeah I think I am done going to work for good month doctor said so.
If the insurance write’s off the car, then no you cannot take that badass K24 under the hood, sorry!
get the car towed to your house first, rather than an impound lot. That way you have more control over the car.
let an independent appraiser come out to estimate it and determine if it is a total. IA’s tend to total cars more often than not anyways because they get paid more or less the same and there is less work. If you think it is repairable get some detailed pics of the damage and i can have a CARSTAR estimator look at it virtually.
Since you’re leasing the car you don’t own it so no you can’t take the motor out. Mind you, if the car is even a border line total the insurer will likely allow you to repair it since the salvage will be crap and they’ll end up paying the leasing company almost the whole value of the car.
If you do decide to repair it and use a CARSTAR i can help negotiate something for you if applicable. Depends on where you are.
If it is a write off you might have the option to buy back
this is a good joke. you almost had me.
whats going on here?
yes trnkz do fill us in on the joke
No, if the insurance writes the car off… you cant take anything but personal belongings from the car. This includes any aftermarket parts you put on it, rims, exhaust, anything… even a sound system. You can choose to buy back the wreck instead of a junker… but it’ll cost ya whatever the hell they ask for it.
Sweet deal eh?
lol when i totalled my 240 they offered me 2100 and then if i wanted to keep the car which has thousands of $$ in parts on it it was 100$ off…so i took the car and 2000
