I’m not the most familiar with Honda’s so hopefully someone here can provide some guidance or recomendation. My mother has a 2004 Acura TL, and this morning the doors would not open, none of them, not even with the key on either front door. I havent been over to look at it yet, the interior drivers door handle broke a while ago as well and only opens from the outside.
So basically, she can’t get into her car. Any options? Even if the battery was dead, it should open with the key, so I don’t know whats going on.
Does the key even turn in the door lock? Often times they seize up from lack of use since hardly anyone still uses a key in the door anymore with the popularity of keyless entry.
It honestly probaby is, I’m trying to save driving to grand island. I’ll make her try it again later, she just told me she only turned the key one way and it didnt open, which was possibly the direction to lock the door.
