Added a few new mods and a big thanks

First of all I would like to thank Spangler(Sinister), and BigblockElCamino(Jeff at First Try) with the help of my transmission and clutch install. Also, I would like to thank Mark (2001Pewter) for installing my heads and intake.:itr41:

The new goodies are:

Absolute Speed heads
Fast 90mm intake and throttle body
SLP 85mm maf
New T-56 from T-56 rebuilds
RAM Powergrip HD w/new hydraulics w/adjustable master
Billet Steel Flywheel
McLeod Scattershield

All I need now is a set of 30lb. injectors and a dyno tune.:hsdance:
Then maybe I’ll see low 11’s.

30 lb injectors enough to feed that? i figured that motor would need atleast 36’s if they have those.

I’m running 36s in my car (haven’t checked the duty cycle yet) and I’m sure my power level is less than yours. Unless you already have them or can find a great deal on 30s I would go bigger. Not usually much if any price difference and the PCM can control bigger ones just as easily. Gives you some wiggle room too for more mods. my $0.02

Thanks Mac. When you seen me I was on the to Jeff’s(1st Try). Car feels good. I got the heads done before the tranny and clutch so I didn’t really roll through the gears , just first to second. because third and 4th were junk in the tranny. When you seen me I was going 2nd to 5th which wasn’t too bad with 4.30’s. But idefinately need a wideband tune. I’m sure the fast setup will be worth it because of the heads.

I’ve seen 30’s handle just over 500whp so I think they will be plenty. There are no plans in the future to spray the car because I will run out of gear in fourth with 4.30’s and a 26 inch tall tire. I talked to Lou at Laurel Mountain Mustang and he has 30lb Ford svo’s on the shelf for $226.

svo30s are more then enough since they are actually 36#

i run 30s and im at 70% duty cycle on my 6.0. he has plenty of room if he goes there. right now hes probably maxing out the stock 28s

theres a difference between the psi on a lsx and a lt1/ford/TPI its kinda confusing but just remember a svo 30 is a 36# injector for LSXs a 36# svo is about 42# and a svo 42# is about a 50# injector…there is an equation to figure it out

wow didnt know that, that is confusing. they could have made it alot easier by just saying a 30 is a 30

doesnt ls1’s run higher fuel pressures than older lt1 and TPI motors? then that would be why a 30 is actually 36 cuz of the higher pressure? cuz stock for me is like 43psi i think.
