addition to the guidlines, in reference to the trouble shooting threads?

if ive seen it once, ive seen it a dozen times, people post a “need help” type thread, and all the original post states is that its a dsm that wont start, when in reality we need to know

year
make
model
major mods
what youve checked so far
what exactly its doing

for example “my honda wont start, wtf” isnt a very good start to a thread

but this is:

1998 honda accord
xx# injectors, hybrid turbo kit with gt## turbo
safc tune

car kicks over but doesnt stay running more then a second

fuel pressure is correct, plugs have been cleaned, replaced the plug wires, checked the safc connections, and wideband shows the AFR is 13.5:1 for the second or so that it actualy runs

It’s kind of hinted in the technical guidelines

You would think common sense would dictate detailed description/info when asking for troubleshooting help, but since there is a general lack of common sense around here, I doubt they’d read the sticky even if I added it.

If someone doesn’t at least make an effort to give enough details, I make it a point not to lose any sleep if they don’t find an answer.

damn. i’m with both of you.

<— half-assed motion to sticky

but i’d rather just walk to the grocery store for more alcohol.
