I’m setting up my adjustable Isky guideplates to get the roller tip centered on the stem. Snugged up the nut and wiggled the rocker arm back and forth so the pushrod would contact either side of the slot to see the extremes of the roller tip movement. In addition to that movement there is also sideways movement of the trunnion in the rocker arm, which adds to the roller tip movement.
How much is acceptable movement of the trunnions?
I assume I should be setting the guideplates to center the tip based on the overall possible motion.
There’s some variance in trunnion motion between rocker arms, so should I keep each rocker arm paired up with which ever stud it was on when setting the guideplates?
If I wasn’t so damned picky this car might be done.
