Adventures in snow removal v.Rant

dont feel too bad, after getting over a foot ontop of the 6 inches we had, today we got about another 4-5 inches. great for snowmobiling, but just the gf’s sled is running, mine im waiting on suspension parts still. but this morning while using our old ass toro snowblower, the chute decided to get clogged and my dumbass self decided to reach down in there without shutting it off. nicked the end of a finger but no blood. got lucky as hell but it hurts like a mother. now i cant even ride the gf’s sled or work on my truck as it was my left hand and im left handed…fvck…

The picture confusing?

wtf were you thinking?

^^^i wasent. which is why im a freakin moron.

I just got done driving around my yard… looking for my driveway.

lol.

i don’t have much sympathy for you though mr. blue eyez. i just finally broke down and got a snowthrower today… i shoveled my long ass city driveway like 7 times manually this weekend… FAIL :frowning:

was so excited to get my new blower that i did my neighbors driveways. :grouphug:

I got the Ranger started last night and plowed myself out.
Driving to work this morning the 4 wheel drive decided to not work in the the Dodge.
When I got to work I had to snow blow because a bunch of people couldn’t get to work including the guy that normally does the snow blowing. I of course broke the snow blower. I seem jinxed lately. lol

BRING IT ON OVER TO MY PLACE!

My brother helps his neighbors with his Honda beast because they wrestle with their pos blowers and he just cruises through. lol

Your welcome:beer:

I’m on the design team for Polaris’s Front Diff on there Sportsman’s and Rangers.

 Nice job. I just went home for lunch and plowed my driveway again.

i have a 32 year old snowblower my grandfather passed down to my family, every year i take it apart and clean it up and replace parts and every year it starts up and does my driveway. this thing honestly has to have about 2000 miles of snowblowing on it haha

^I had a 38 year old lawn tractor that gave me less trouble than my much newer John Deere. Allis Chalmers ftw.

you stole my line. i was going to say something similar.

after reading the orig. post I motion to name your driveway the fail trail.

In a rare moment of charity I took my blower across the street and did my neighbors driveway (an older couple)… and sheered a pin entering their driveway… and I hadnt finished mine yet so there was no wayyyy I was getting my cars out. Thankfully the hardware store is only two blocks down.

Granted this is the first time in 20+ years we’ve had to replace a pin on the snowblower which is probably 30+ years old and puts these new plastic pussy ones in their place.

I see you made it to post #2. Did you make it to post #3 before your ADD kicked in? I guess not.

Speaking of adventures in snow removal, my wife just left me a message. Something about someone giving us an old Ford snowblower. Sounds cool to me. Shoveling’s getting old.

a ford snowblower?

Ford used to make tractors, lawn and farm equipment, it wouldn’t surprise me if at one point they made snow blowers.
