So I got a call today about a job and the chick on the phone said that Oct 29 may be a good day to interview, but she was going to call me right back and let me know. So 2 things, 1 - it’s been over 2 hours (should I call her back at some point today?) 2 - She wanted the interview on a day I am giving a big presentation to our execs - should I try to reschedule?

call her back at the end of the day and definately reschedule - if you don’t get the job, you don’t want to risk the one you already have.
when this happened to me I would give them a few hours but always make the last contact of the work day… it shows that you follow up…
also reschedule… just tell them that oct28th would ‘work better’ or the next week… as 2k said, it’s better to blow off your current employer once you have another job!!!
