hey guys, in the middle of putting in aem and injectors. any one have any tips. installing gm map, air temp, and boost solinod. we have a tune day with paul at neetronics on thursday. (sasha)
what did you pay for the gm map, ait and boost solenoid?

what problems are you having? everything is pretty straight forward but problems always arise
PM me if you want me to baseline the car and fix any little problems on wednesday (tommorow) so paul doenst have to deal with that (he hates that). I wont charge much for my time

Paul is a really nice guy but in MY experience he has no idea how to tune the boost control built into the AEM. I brought my car to him and it wasn’t done properly, I had to redo all the wastegate duty table myself.
i hav not experianced paul yet, but fom what i hear he is a realy nice guy, and knows his stuff. but if you dont ask him to set certain things he wont.
You shouldn’t have to ask to have wastegate duties set properly on a boosted car

How far off was your car with a base map loaded?
I hooked up my AEM and fired it up with a base map corrected for 740s and 300ZX MAF and it idled but like shit, as soon as I tried to give it gas it went dead though.
How come your using a z32 MAF with your ems? Do you have a wideband? The engine is probably getting flooded with gas, the stock maps are set really rich, even if you set it up for 740’s. You might have to lean it out a bit. My car on the stock map runs pig rich you can see smoke in the rear view mirror lol.
