$1200 for a 12.1" screen on a decently equipped laptop.

i really dont understand why so many people prefer Dell. I understand they are cheap computers, but everyone that i know who have/had Dell “laptops” got problems with it on a constant basis. Every single one of them have to call “Dell Helpline” which is prolly answered somewhere in india, no one really helps you out (from what i heard) and retrospectively uyou end up mailing your laptop to dell, and pray for a soon arrival. I have had Sony laptops for the past 4 years, and i personally didnt come across any technical problems.

Likewise I could say quite a few things about Sony laptops, warranty work, :snky: policies, and support. Everyone has thier opinions.

Likewise they don’t fit into the guidelines of new laptop with a 12" screen under $1700 not even close to it for that matter.

i was trying to say that if u ownd a sony laptop, there is a very good chance you wont be having to even call for warranty work/support; however, I do agree with the cost, and it is very true its not anywhere close to 1700$ for a 12".

how about IBMs?/?
