We were invited as one of 12 shops to the Super lap shootout @ firebird raceway next weekend. Some last minute work and the car was ready for the track (or atleast we hoped).
Anyways ran the car hard for 4 20 min sessions…thankfully nothing broke We should be up about 200whp next weekend as the competition is strong.

i was researching it, the general opinion is that because the hardtop wasn’t meant to hold weight all it does it dent. i thought it would be pretty cool to have a hardtop with a roof rack to throw on for the winter, then in summer have the top down.
from everything i read it really can’t. i don’t want to chance it and have the hardtop become unusable, or loose my rack and snowboard cause of it. if i found one person that had good luck doing it, it would be a different story.
car made 480whp / 390wtq today on e85. Was making about 325whp when it was on the track. Best lap was a 1:05.2 @325whp which would have placed us ~5th out of 12 based on last years field. The track has a HUGE straigh so hopefully the extra 150whp/160wtq can make up some times
