You could always relocate the buttons if there isn’t a wheel that has
room to accomodate them. Maybe there is one that you could use, but I’m
sure its ugly.
Ive been wondering about this too. My mother uses my car occaisonally and complains about having no cruise control, so I was wondering about having it rewired cuz it looks like theres some unused button spots. Ive got no problem with it, my mom will probably be paying for it since theres no way I would, lol.
I wired up the dash dimmer switches for my cruise control.
maybe you could move the factory buttons on the steering wheel to say, just ahead of the shifter on the console or somewhere else…if there was a simple way to do it i would do it- i saw a wicked nice light grey leather steering wheel which will match my seats beautifully! I also made a shifter boot out of this old grey leather coat i found at a second hand store for $7 dollars and i get compliments on it all the time. The steering wheel would be the final touch
just do what this guy did
or take the custom radio shack approch as illustrated by the zilvia install guide
all u need is a little patience and research.
I know that Nardi steering wheels keep the horn function if you buy their Tureno series for sure.
most all the aftermarket steering wheels have a horn buttonl . just up to you if u wanna wire it… what about those that have a quick release…
Haha i have to rewire my horn, Im pretty sure the wire popped off. There used to be a scraping sound wen i turned the wheel, but i noticed it stopped, but so had the horn, damn taxi goin like 40 cut me off at 80, so i figure it was the vigourous honking that disconnected the cord lol.
