Anyone try this yet? I am not a big fan of Trillian but it’s definitely got a different feel to it than the original AIM does. I think I like it as it’s definitely more modern.
ive tried downloading it at work but everytime i download aim it won’t connect to the internet, i can use aim express fine, but everytime i’ve tried using the full downloaded version it can never establish a connection, i dont know why.
I’m using it… i haven’t noticed any big advantages to it, but i haven’t been using it that long.
The buddy list looks a lot more complicated then it needs to be. Everybody has a symbol infront of their names, half i don’t know what they mean. I prefer just the simple “away” icon/symbol.
AIM express is HTTP
AIM uses certain ports that are probably blocked by your administrator
AIM Triton made my computer crash…
is there anyway to go in and turn on these ports or something?
Give the admin a reach around.
Try setting your AIM to connect on port 80.

It takes alot more resources than regular AIM… hope you have a decent computer.
