Most stand alones don’t use MAF’s. Like an SDS, you just tell it what it wants to read.
Yeah, with map sensor you will need the appropriate computer to be able to function with map sensor. All a blow through set up is, is that you run the maf after the turbo (use it as part of the intercooler piping).

On a side note a friend of mine did that swap and said they suck ass. Said it was a waist of his time and a RB26 is a much better solution!
They often do it on GTR’s as Apexi has a power FC line called the “D Jetro” which uses a map system.
