i think the head sock is just an option incase you dont wnat to stick your head into a shared helmet. i dont know if its required.

The karts suck so badly now its not even worth it last time i was there i went from running 23s in one kart to low 25s to high 25s. I wouldnt be very happy stuck with a slow ass kart.
yeah ive had some real inconsistency with some of the karts. some would lag in the tight corners and id wouldnt really get going and i could only manage 25’s and then other carts are 23’s all day long
when i went, i had a bunch of danish people with me. we got a kick ass group rate. there were 6 of us that went for $90 a race
See, I think that’s half the fun of getting different cars. It tends to keep the competition tight. From what I’ve noticed, pretty much every car is capable of 24’s…you just have to drive them differently. I’ve driven cars into the low 24’s that people barely got into the high 25’s, kindof funny to see their reaction after swearing up and down that they got a dog kart.
Our $120 fee was probably a one-shot deal. They are trying to get us to book another league, but they said a while ago they doubted they be able to hold that price. If anyone gets an NYSpeed deal better than $200…let me know.
