Alignments for Lowered Cars in Buffalo

Every car I own has the lifetime alignment from firestone. I get the jeep realigned every time I wheel it and have never had an issue. The deal is good for firestone and expert tire.

I talked to Licata’s and their quote is $100-$200 “depending on how long it takes.” They can’t narrow it down a bit more than that? And they’re only open M-F from 8-4:30, which is opening after I get to work, and closing before I leave. I honestly don’t know how businesses that offer services can make any money when they’re only open when 95% of the population works during those hours.

Oh well… I’ll stop over at Firestone tonight and see if they can do anything. If worse comes to worse I’ll just raise it up an inch or so before I get it aligned.

licata’s service sucks. i had an appointment scheduled, took off work, drove 30 minutes out there, all for them to say “sorry we cant get you in” really? you couldnt fucking call me? so i reschedule, but this time i call the day before to make sure its still a go, and they say “well you need to get here first thing in the morning, we take people by the order they come in, not by what time theyre scheduled” so even if you get there 10 min before your appointment, youre not getting in then most of the time…eventually after scheduling a 3rd time, i had my dad take the car for me because i couldnt get out of work. he waited there like 3 hours while they did the alignment, which was like 90 bucks with the coupon. but then they “couldnt loosen my rear trailing arm bolts” so they had to heat them to loosen. 5 minutes to heat em = another ~90 bucks in labor ontop of the alignment. (fwiw, ive had my car 2.5 years and have never had a problem loosening a bolt on it)

i only went to licatas because noone could align my car because of how low it was. that is the only reason i went there. i only reccommend them if someone has a car that is too low, otherwise i would reccommend someone else. their service is a joke.

Scruggs did an aligenment on my old a4 and did a piss poor job.
Car wasn’t lowered and dialed in the rear so that my snows were about done in 7000 miles. But only the inside edges of my rear tires.

I went to a hand full of places each of the past 2 nights trying to get an alignment and/or inspection. Without dropping the car off in the morning, it is nearly impossible to get any service done during the week. I tried Firestone, 3 Monroe locations, Basil, Dunn Tire, King’s, Licata’s, Goodyear and a few others I’m sure. I finally got an appointment for today at I time that I can actually show up around work.

Those of you recommending Firestone… is there a specific one you’ve had good luck with? My car is stock height so I can go anywhere and I’m really liking the idea of a lifetime alignment with the way I drive.

i go to licatas all the time for alignments, nothing but great service. i have only had one other place do my alignment on my 240 (weilands on trasit) and they did a terrible job, and the kid could barely get my car on the rack (rode the shit out of my clutch)

I always end up going to either firestone at the McKinley mall or expert tire in the village of hamburg (usually expert tire). Like I said I have nothing but positive remarks about them. I have also been in 3 times in one month and they were cool about it.

Do you have to buy the lifetime alignment at Firestone, or can you purchase it at Expert Tire as well? I live right by the Expert Tire in Hamburg so if I could buy it and have it done there it would be awesome.

I’ll take a look at Expert Tire in the village. I’d rather go there than Firestone. Hopefully someone around here will be able to get it done without me taking my front end off.

I purchased 3 of the 4 of mine at expert tire but they are good at either chain.

i went to the firestone on maple and amelia drive behind the blvd mall.

it was my first encounter with them but i called them that day and they said bring it in and we can do it asap.

it took them about an hour and a half and while they were working i just bummed around the mall to kill time…

overall a decent experience…if you plan on going there i would def take off your front end or bring plenty of planks to cut down the angle to get it on the rack

I tried to make an appt with Licatas a few months ago, the lady told me I’d have to drop my car off at 8am because they don’t schedule times for alignments. I didn’t call back.

I think I’m out of luck on this one. I literally stopped by about 6 different shops in the past few hours. Firestone, Mr Tire, Expert Tire, Kevin’s, etc… They all have pretty much the exact same machine.

yeah, your car looks as low as mine. as much as i dont want to say it i think your stuck going to licatas. i didnt want to when i had mine done but it was better then killing tires in a form other than heaterz. unfortuneatly this pig doesnt really do those either…

I need to get a alignment for the smiling car, drove it about 5 times this summer and it is off :frowning: I will probably get it done at Firestone.

95dime, I drive by your house (car) every week on my way to and from work… campbell (sp) rd. I dig the ride every time I drive by

I am able to do lowered cars and custom alignments at my facility.

so bring your own planks or just take off all that nonsense you have going on in the front

This.

TERRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER go to Licata’s no matter how many leg humpers they have and I hope their phone lady sucks on an exhaust pipe.
