All the Aircraft carriers in the world

Don’t let it happen again.

Yes sir

Haha!!

Gettin loud.

Here’s the ship I’ll be reporting to in January. USS Harry S. Truman CVN-75

Lol, picture in OP brings a huge smile to my face.

Sooooo much money

try 22 months over the course of 2 deployments.

This.

The US could get rid of half those ships and still kick ass…AND save LOADS of money in the process. I can’t imagine these things are cheap to maintain, much less staff with a crew.

Russian telling us to downsize the navy… Build more ships.

This! Hahaha

:rofl

'Merica > Russia

I am sure the giant fleet will somehow indirectly help paying down the deficit…

what carrier where you on and when?

GW 04-05, IKE 06-07. and the lincoln/stennis for various CQ dets.

15 months total deployment at sea time, the other 7 was from dets/works ups.

Few things to note is that we’re only connected by land to Canada and Mexico, and one of our states is a set of islands, and we have been at war for most of the last 100 years if you count the cold war.

That’s three things.

What you talking about?

We really don’t need more ships. We have a major us base within easy striking distance to any foreign aggressor. By the time the navy flotted there slow ass boats over we would already have boots on ground. Someone will say but cruise missiles. No the us air force has plenty of precision guided weapons with much faster deployment. The only real good the navy can do anymore is inspect ships for illegal cargo. Just cuz some clown says we need these because of the boogie man don’t believe them. The Navy can barely maintain what it has already. I don’t think they need or even want more.
