If the profit from their drilling goes towards the park and its expenses, then it wouldn’t be too bad. Seeing as they’re a private company, I doubt any of it would (unless they do have to pay either the lump sum or annual amounts, which could possibly be negligible anyways). Regardless, it’s a state park, which is land specifically set aside for preservation of wildlife and outdoor recreation free of things like oil drills. If they drilled somewhere else a bit more acceptable, then alright. And those things are pretty ugly lol.
