Looks like this forum is pretty inactive, but figured I’d post something anyways! Some of you might remember me from a few years ago. I (very briefly) owned a 180sx, and then had a '97 S14 for a couple years that was eventually stolen right off my driveway (http://www.son240sx.org/showthread.php?162494-MY-CAR-GOT-STOLEN-PLEASE-HELP!!!).
ANYWAYS, I’m thinking about getting back into an S-chassis this summer.
I’m looking for something that’s track-ready, and pretty well modified inside and out. Doesn’t need to have crazy aesthetic stuff done, but I’m looking for something with ~250-350hp, and in really good condition (no serious rust). Ideally an SR but I’d consider an RB (no KA-T).
Would like something with these kinds of aftermarket parts:
- steering wheel/short shifter/racing seats
- adjustable coilovers/multilink, etc.
- rims/tires
- exhaust/intercooler
- nice paint is a plus
Basically a car that’s ready to go as-is for track use.
Would be awesome to find a Kouki (since mine was taken from me), but I’d be happy with an S13 too (preferably a hatch, with type-X aero). Ultimately, anything nice.
I live in a condo in Toronto now and don’t have a place to really do any work on the car. I also have basically zero time to spend on it, so I’m looking for something reliable (this is key) too. This will be a car to enjoy for the occasional leisurely drive and to take to the track a few times each summer.
I’m looking to spend about $10k ideally, but I’m happy to spend $15k or even $20k for something really good.
