Altima Work

Time to get some serious work done before the track events, so i was thinking of a few quick setups and really wanted some opinions on the parts (good and bad) and if i’m missing anything that in my state of haste might have forgotten,

Front Brakes:
-EBC Green Stuff brake pads
-Brembo Vented Blanks

Strut Bar
-Arospeed Bar

And if time/money/effort permits
-Suspension Techniques Rear Sway Bar

Please try to keep it slightly on topic … try to keep it under 30% gay jokes… i know thats a lot of work… but i know you can do it

Honestly I would go with Hawk Pads (or did you already have those?) And powerslot rotors, but honestly Auto-X is more about handling than braking, really braking should never happen that often, it’s about trying to get as smooth and consistent as possible if you are braking hard you are losing time. So if your pads NEED to be replaced replace them, if not go with suspension mods, Strut Tower Brace, Lower Tie Bar, Front Sway Bar, Rear Sway bar,and Coilovers, that will make your car handle like a motha through the course. Brakes are always good to have (obviously), but is not as necessary as suspension.

Oh and STICKY tires would be a major +.

And if you needed help installing anything I would be more than happy to help. Just bring the beer.

I like Beer, Beer is Good.

Needs brakes… they’re at the min… well the front, and i drive with a heavy brake foot…

and i hear those hawks scream… but i was looking for a cost effective solutions…

and they dont seem to make any front sway, and i dont know if the ebay coilovers i have are worth the effort to put in…

To be honest i dont even know where to start… kinda lost and need a nice big list to choose from…

do not get hawk, the scream like a motha, i have em on my 95 altima, i hate them and looking for new ones

What Hawk model do you have?

I have the Hawk HPS not the HP+ and they are amazing and everyone else who has them that I know of has never had a problem they recommended them to me and they are great.

Like I said as well if you need help installing anything let me know if you have coil-overs sitting around you might as well install them.

do you have a strut tamer? cuz yeah, i dunno if the quality of these coilovers are worth doing… someone told me that they’d kill my shocks… which fankly are 13 years old…

i have the hps pads, and i find them annoying as heck
